There is a fresh energy surrounding TWO OCEAN’s latest offering, Akuqondani, as the talented act explores a sound that gives the release its own personality.
KUYOBA UMLANDO arrives as a well-rounded project, presenting a selection of tracks that explore different moods while maintaining a clear artistic identity.
A major part of the record’s sound comes from Stshomi, NHLAKA MKHIZE, JOZI MHLONGO, whose creative input provides the foundation for the vocals and musical arrangement.
Much of the song’s lyrical identity comes from Luyanda Dlamini, Londeka Shangase, whose writing brings together ideas and expressions that fit naturally with the production.
There is a certain ease to the way everything comes together here, leaving behind a record that feels complete without trying too hard.
